This is the web site of the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM), a multipurpose cultural arts facility located in Yamaguchi City. This site aims to provide information on 6 of YCAM's activities including exhibits, films, and live performances. As part of the site's design, a variety of information on activities at the Center has been color-coded according to activity. Using the interactive daily and monthly calendar on the main page interface, visitors can plan their visit before arriving at the Center. On the systems side, the site uses a Movable Type CMS, which decreases the load when inputting data and the like. Flash and Javascript have been incorporated to enhance the interface for the calendar, the floor map and other elements.
